What Does The Weight Capacity Rating of Timbren Springs Refer To

This item says its for a Ford Explorer with Sport Trac. I have a 2005 Explorer with Advanced Trac. Will it work for this model as well?

The weight capacity of the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMFK10R is how much vertical weight the springs can handle pushing down on them while towing/hauling. So basically it refers to tongue weight, payload weight or pin weight (if you tow a fifth wheel/gooseneck trailer). These particular springs can handle 2,000 lbs but please keep in mind they will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity so you wan't to make sure you are not exceeding that.
