The part you might need for the womans bike is the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, part # TH982XT. This adapter bar attaches to your bikes seat post and handlebar stem post, providing a horizontal bar for the bike rack to grab on to. It will help keep the bike level for safe transport. It would be required if there is no horizontal bar on your womans bike. I am including a link to a video review of the # TH982XT adapter bar.

I also have the Thule Security Strap, part # TH533, that is for keeping the trunk bike rack from being removed from you vehicle.
