Will the Carr LD Custom Fit Side Steps Fit on a 2018 Ram 5500 Flat Bed Diesel Truck
Question:
I have a 2018 Ram 5500 Diesel flat bed truck. Will these steps fit and mount correctly with the diesel tank directly by the frame under the driver side door? If so, can you please show me how to do so? I have already bought some that said they would fit, but they do not and have had to return them. I want to make sure prior to buying another set and them being wrong again. Thank you.

I reached out to my contact at Carr and they assured me that the Carr LD Custom Fit Side Steps # CARR117441 will fit on your 2018 Ram 5500 Flat Bed Diesel truck. We do not have an installation video of this product available but they assured me that these are a universal product and will mount anywhere on the frame, near the door, that you can fit them. You will need to drill holes into the frame of your truck in order to mount these steps, since there are no pre-drilled holes on the frames of the 2018 Ram 5500 flat bed trucks.
