No 12 Volt Power to my 7-way Connector on my 2007 Nissan Xterra

Question:

I have a factory installed 7way plug that came standard with the tow package. Everything works fine except I am not getting 12 volts constant power to the plug. What is causing this? Is it a relay problem?

Yuor 2007 Nissan Xterra is set up where your key needs to be in the accessory or run position to activate the 12 Volt power. If you've tested this with the key on and your not getting power then your solution is below.

On your 2007 Nissan Pathfinder the Towing Relay 2 fuse is the brown relay, like the one included in kit # C57000. This relay will activate the 12-volt power circuit on the 7-Way connector. This relay is located in a fuse box under the hood, next to the vehicles battery. Next to the brown relay will be Towing Relay 1 (blue) which should be installed to activate the running lights and signal for the 4-pin towing harness. With this relay in place you will have power going to your 7-way plug. Happy Towing!
