Will the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirrors part # 40375-2 Work on my 2012 4 Runner part # 40375-2

Question:

I am trying to fit my 2012 Toyota 4 runner. These will be the third set of mirrors I have tried. Can you offer me any assurance they will work before I order them. The video is of a 4 Runner using this mirror, but reviews say that the mirror has trouble staying put, and the Clamps interfere with the operation of the factory mirrors, something I experience with the first set I couldnt use. Your help is appreciated. Eric Henderson

I've got good news! I walked down and talked with Adam who did the video you had referenced. He stated that there was no interference issues with the factory mirrors adjust ability and that the clips are narrow enough that they sit in between the mirror housing and mirror face. He also said that they held on really well and he wasn't worried about them not staying put while he was headed down the highway.

I've done plenty of test fits and demonstrations on universal towing mirrors and I really like the way these work and I believe that the smaller profile and the cutout on the back will help to drastically reduce the wind drag and the vibration it can cause on some of the others out there. I believe you will be happy with these. Happy towing!
