Discreet Brake Controller Option For 2019 Ram 1500

Question:

i want to use a brake controller in the 2020 ram 1500 but I really don't want to the bulky brake controller unit in the cab. I looked at the Curt Echo but I don't have a smart phone.

I have the perfect option for a discreet brake controller in the 2020 Ram 1500 cab. I recommend to use the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR with the adapter plug part # 331-TPH-020 which will plug in underneath the truck's dash.

The main unit of the Redarc can be mounted in a out-of-the-way location so you don't have to find a spot to install a bulky brake controller in the cab. The brake controller settings are controlled with a small knob that can installed a convenient easy to reach spot such as a blank switch panel or open area of the console. I have attached a couple photos for your reference and a diagram of the size of the knob so you can start figuring out where to install it in the truck. This panel part # 331-TPSI-001 gives it a cleaner look as well.
