Tailgate Lift and Back Up Camera For 2018 Ram 3500 Trucks That Have Ram Boxes
Question:
We are having difficulty finding a lift gate that will work on a Ram 3500 with the rambox. will this gate work for that application? Also, are your lift gates available with backup camera options to replace factory cameras in the OEM tailgate? Thank you.

I do have an option for you but I contacted Buyers Products about the Buyers Products LiftDogg Pickup Truck Liftgate w/ Custom Mounting Brackets part # 33713006027-1300 for the 2018 Ram 2500 with ram box and the mounting locations do interfere with the boxes so they are not compatible.
The Ultra-Fab Handy Gate Electric Tailgate Lift part # UF55-937004 will not interfere with the ram boxes in the 2018 Ram 3500. I confirmed this with the tech at Ultra-fab. I have attached a review video of this item for your reference.
There is not a way to retain the factory backup camera option or an electric lock if you have one. Ultra-fab is working on a pig tail for this but it is not available yet.
I recommend to use the Rampage Wireless Backup Camera for Smartphone or Tablet - iOS or Android partt # RA7710 which has a magnetic base so you can't mount it to the tailgate and monitor it with a smartphone or tablet. I have attached a video of the camera for your reference.
