If Using One Set of Tire Chains on a 4WD Vehicle Which Axle Should Chains Go On
Question:
Hello, Should snow chains be installed front or rear for 2002 Ford Explorer Super Track 4 Wheel Drive? I tried to look up it in the Owners manual but couldnt find it. Called a dealer but not helpful! Thanks

On 4 wheel drive vehicles like your 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac if you are going to only use one set of tire chains you will want to install them on the rear axle since that is the main drive axle.
Let me know what tire size you have and I'll recommend some chain sets.
