How Many Tires Chains Are Needed for a 2018 Toyota Highlander AWD

I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE. Would I need chains/cables on all 4 tires for an AWD or just the front tires?

The owner's manual for a 2018 Toyota Highlander AWD recommends installing tire chains on the front tires only so that is what I must recommend as well. If you have not already decided on a set of tire chains, the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC2317 (P245/60R18) are what I recommend. The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains have a diamond pattern so you don't get a harsh ride like similar ladder style chains, color coated side chains to make untangling easier, and only have three connection points so they are super easy to install. I have personally installed the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains many times and they are by far my favorite option at this price point due mostly to the ease of installation.
