Replacing A Linkage on Kwikee Step Assembly for 1998 Holiday Rambler

Question:

Could you please advise me if you can just change the A linkage on RV steps without taking entire whole assembly off. I have a 1998 Holiday Rambler and I cannot remove motor from the rest of assembly. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I reached out to my contact at Lippert and he said on the Kwikee step assembly for your 1998 Holiday Rambler the A Linkage # LC379649 can indeed be replaced just by itself. You shouldn't need to take apart or replace anything else on the steps when doing this. Just be sure to extend them completely before removing and installing the new component. .
