What is Best Cushioned Pin Box for 2019 Grand Design 381M with 1621 Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2019 Ram 3500 HD long bed dully with the B and W 25000 lb. receiver, I have a Grand Design 2019 381M withe 1621 pin box. I would like to upgrade my pin box and have been looking at the Reese Airborne and the Trailair flex. The Trailair is quite a bit heavier than the Reese. Which hitch will fit without having to make height adjustments. right now my truck and trailer are level. What would you recommend?

The 21k Trailair Flex Air part # LC369535 is going to be the best replacement pin box for you as it provides the most cushioning to your fifth wheel towing setup since it has an air spring and shock for vertical chucking and has cushioning built into the pivoting pin box plate as well. The 5th Airborne isn't a terrible option but it wouldn't provide same level of cushioning. These were designed to be as close in dimensions to the 1621 pin boxes they replace so you wouldn't need to use a different height setting.
