Does the Draw-Tite hitch require fascia trimming to install on a 2020 BMW X5?

There is trimming involved to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76288. I have attached a photo of what needs to be trimmed. You can see once everything is fully installed it will have a really clean factory like appearance with the cross tube completely hidden. The hands free lift gate will continue to work like normal, you'll just have to wave your foot to either side of the receiver tube.
If you need the rest of the components to tow a trailer I recommend the following :
Trailer wiring : ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. This kit will give you a 4 pole flat trailer connector, and does not require any cutting or splicing into your BMW's wiring.
Ball Mount : etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches # 989900.
