Easy to Install Brake Controller for 2015 Town and Country Platinum Unlimited w Factory 7-Way

Question:

I would like to install this in a 2015 Town and Country Platinum Unlimited w factory tow package. The van has a fully functioning OEM 7 point connector at the rear. All wires for power, and lights route to the front and are currently connected. However sitting next to the battery is a bundle of blue wire along with a 12 volt feed coming off the battery to a fuse and then a junction with a 5 point connection. That 5 point connection has a relay in it now that I suspect is where I could plug a model specific harness into. But I am not certain and have never had to wire a brake controller. The blue wire that runs up to the bundle in the front is not connected to anything at the front. Its just running from the 7 point connector and coiled up next to the battery. Is there a vehicle specific wiring harness? Where does the blue wire get wired to? And can you please recommend everything I need for a very clean and simple install?

We don't have a vehicle specific brake controller install harness for your 2015 Chrysler Town and Country but based on what you described having you do have a really easy option for installing a brake controller since you said you wanted very clean and simple. The wire that's ran from the battery to back near the 7-way take and connect the one end to the vehicle's positive battery post and then connect the other end to the 1:00 pin position of your 7-way. With just those connections made you can easily install and use a Curt Echo brake controller part # C51180. You'd just need to plug this into the 7-way and once you synced it to your smart phone you'd be ready to tow.

I attached an install video that shows this installing on a 2015 Town and Country just like yours. Without considerably more wiring there isn't a different simple and easy brake controller setup I could recommend for you.
