Replacing Trailer Wiring 7-Way to 4-Way Adapter that is Causing Trailer Wiring Short

Question:

My 7 pin connector on my truck tow package is brand new and professionally installed, all my fuses for turn signals and tow package are in good working order or brand new. When I plug my trailer in using a 7 to 4 adapter all lights work except my left turn signal, not even on my truck, it just stays solid. Also my 4 ways stay solid. Right turn signal, running light, marker lights, and brake lights work. Ive checked the grounds on both the left and right side lights and they are good. I checked the trailer ground and it is good. Im going to buy a new adapter to illuminate that as an issue. At this point Im baffled as to what it could be. Please help. Thanks

It really has to be the adapter based on what you've tested. It seems to have a short or something grounding out in it which is causing the problem you described. For that our most reliable and best option is the Pollak part # PK12716 which will simply plug into your 7-way and give you a 4-way for your trailer wiring to connect to.

I attached a review video for this adapter for you to check out as well.
