Is Zero Point Recalibration Required with Leg Replacement of Lippert Ground Control

Question:

I have a 2016 Reflection 27RL 5th wheel by Grand Design and The motor assembly on the front ground control landing gear is making noise. It still works but I want to replace the motor. Is it possible to just change out the motor without resetting the zero point on the RV? What I think I want to do is order the complete assembly and change out the motor only then keep the leg as a spare partinch for future use if needed. Thanks,

We do have a replacement motor for the lead leg of the Lippert Ground Control kit you have on your 2016 Reflection 27RL with the part # LC343758 but it sounds like you'd rather do the entire leg assembly with part # LC305340. Since it's a new motor you'll want to reset the zero point as well. I attached a picture that details how to do this. You can try and see if it doesn't prompt you to do this but most likely you'll need/want to.
