Recumbent Bike Carrier for 2013 Toyota Highlander

Question:

I am looking for an SUV 2013 Toyota Highlander rear cargo carrier for my recumbent bike. The rear axle/tire dimension is 28inch and Ill need a 60inch length. Do you carry one or know of one?

We have just what you're looking for! Have a look at the Swagman XC-Extended Platform-Style 2 Recumbent Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitche # S64650, which is designed with recumbent bikes in mind. This carrier will handle recumbent bikes with wheelbases up to 68" long and can be used on 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers (your 2013 Toyota Highlander most likely has a 2" receiver); this rack will accommodate up to 3-1/2" wide wheels using the XTC loops.

This carrier has a 70-lbs total capacity (35-lbs each bike), so you'll want to make sure that your bike weighs in the 45-lb range before going this route. If your bike weighs more than that, please let me know and I can look for an alternate solution for you.
