The Thule OutWay 3 Bike Carrier # TH56BV, will fit your 2012 Honda Accord sedan and your 2012 Honda Civic sedan. This bike rack has a unique fit dial feature that will adjust the bike rack to your specific vehicle design. For your Accord you will use Fit Dial 8 and for your Civic you will use Fit Dial 7.

This bike rack is one of our most popular bike racks and uses only 2 cables that will attach to the top and bottom edges of your trunk. The lower arm of the carrier should rest on the upper tier of the bumper.

I would also recommend getting the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, if you plan on carrying any women's, children's or alternative bike frames. Some bike frames will mount in awkward positions depending on the type of bike frame and one tire may come close to the ground. This adapter bar will allow you to carry the bike level and eliminate the concern for ground clearance with your bike tire.
