Difference Between WeatherTech Auto Mats and 3D Auto Mats for GMC Sierra

Question:

What is the difference between this part # WT466071IM and WT466071 other than the price? Comparing pictures, which is subjective, the WT466071IM doesnt seem to have the Weathertech badge but it does appear to be imprinted with the name though. Also pictures seem to indicate that more coverage of the front door sills are protected with the IM version. Ive owned several sets of these floorliners in the past and some of the badges have lost its adhesive backside and fallen off. Thats the only downside thats happened to me. But if the other is imprinted and offers more coverage then thats what Ill purchase from you but just want to be clear. Thanks for your time and Happy New Year!

There are a couple of differences between the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats # WT466071 and the 3D Auto Floor Mats # WT466071IM for your Sierra and one of them is indeed the manufacturer badge that you mentioned.

As you noticed from the product page pictures, the 3D version # WT466071IM has this badge imprinted on the mat, so you definitely don't have to worry about it coming off over time. The other difference actually comes in their construction. The standard Auto Mats are made out of a harder material and are a bit more rigid, while the 3D Mats are made from a softer, more flexible material. Both offer the same amount of protection and coverage but the 3D mats might be a little easier to install because of their flexibility.
