Is There More Than One Way to Determine Wheel Bolt Pattern
Question:
your picture and detail on paper diagram of how to measure bolt pattern seems to be different than what the video and spokes person is saying and showing. On paper diagram it shows you measure from one lug nut hole to opposite side between the 2 two lug nut holes. On video it shows he measures from center of lug nut on one side and measures to opposite outer edge of lug nut. Does both ways work out to be the same distance?

There is more than one way to measure and determine wheel bolt pattern. You can measure across the bolt holes or you can measure to the nearest bolt hole and with that info you'll be able to determine it as well.
I attached a link to a help article that covers a few ways to determine bolt pattern for you to check out as well.
