Difference Between Adaptive and Non-Adaptive Cruise Control
Question:
what is adaptive and non adaptive cruise control?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Adaptive cruise control is something fairly new to the auto industry and is when your vehicle has a setting that basically matches the pace of the vehicle in front of you (speeds up and slows down as the vehicle in front of you does). Non-Adaptive cruise control is just standard cruise control where you set your vehicle to a speed and it keeps going that speed until you step the gas or brake pedal, or you turn it off.
It looks like you were checking out some flat towing equipment for a 2019 GMC Canyon so I have attached a link to the fitguide for that vehicle that you can reference. For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
