Will the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers Fit a 2012 FR Wildcat Max 272RLX 5th Wheel

Question:

Is a 5 lug axel a 6,000 lb axel on a tandem axel trailer? My trailer is a extra lite 5th wheel at 7,900 dry weight with 5 lug axels. Thanks

If you have a tandem axle trailer with 7,900 lb GVWR then I would be willing to bet you have two 3,500 lb axles. I understand this may seem on the lighter side but the combined axle capacity rarely meets the GVWR as the tongue of the trailer which is supported by the vehicle carries roughly 10-15% of the trailer's overall weight. The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279687 will work just fine with 3,500 lbs axles so you are good there but do take a look at the dimensions and make sure they are similar to your existing equalizers.
