Atwood Air Command Only Red LED Coming on for Heat
Question:
Only the red LED light is coming on when I tried to turn the heat on.. Ive run it through mode several times but its still only comes up with a red LED but the cool comes on with a green LED.. is there something Im missing

If I'm understanding you correctly, sounds like when you cycle through the modes on your Atwood Air Command # AT15028-22 that your heat isn't kicking on. The green LED signals that the air conditioning is on, while the red LED next to the heat is lit when the heater is engaged. You'll first want to make sure that your thermostat is set to a point at least 6 degrees above the current room temperature. Additionally, the compressor has a 3 minute delay before starting- in very cold conditions the unit will take more time to start producing warm air. If the red LED is lit, that means that the heat pump is engaged, but as mentioned above, it does take some time to start producing heated air.
If you can confirm that the unit has been running for some time and no heat is coming out when the heat mode is selected, please let me know and I will continue to troubleshoot this with you.
