Platform Bike Rack That Doesn't Contact Bike Frames for Class I Hitch on 2002 Toyota Camry

Question:

I just purchased the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch 24715 for a 2002 toyota camry because it seems like the most appropriate hitch that does not require drilling. But this makes the hitch a class I. I noticed in the instructions for the Saris SuperClamp EX 2-Bike Hitch Rack that it is designed for Class II hitches only. Does this mean this product will not work with the Draw Tite Trailer Hitch 24715 because it is a class I hitch? Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you!

I have a solution for you, but unfortunately the Saris SuperClamp EX 2 # SA4025F does not work with Class I hitches. This is because Class I hitches have a weld stop in the hitch to prevent users from using accessories that are not rated for those hitches. Additionally we do not have a Class II hitch for the 2002 Toyota Camry that does not require drilling during installation.

Instead of the Saris SuperClamp, I recommend using the Thule T2 Classic # TH9045. The Thule T2 Classic has all of the same features that drew you to the SuperClamp; The T2 Classic is a wheel mounting rack that won't scratch up your bike frame, comes equipped with locks, will carry fat bikes or e-bikes, plus it has the ability to tilt back with bikes loaded and fold up towards the vehicle when not in use. This rack can also be used in Class I hitches, where the SuperClamp cannot.

I've attached a review video of the Thule T2 Classic for you to have a look at in the mean time.
