Can Truck with Firestone Ride Rite Air Bag Kit Installed be Lifted By Frame

Will it damage the bags if you lift the vehicle by the frame?

This question comes up pretty frequently and Firestone has assured us that no damage will occur if you lift a truck up by the frame that has the Firestone air bag kit part # F35FV installed. The bags are incredibly tough plus the suspension of the truck will still carry most of the weight of the rear axle.
