Best Fifth Wheel Hitch Adapters/Options for 2019 Nissan Titan Xd with B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck
Question:
I ordered a BandW model BWGNRK1217 to be installed on my 2019 Nissan Titan Xd. I need an adapter plate to work with this hitch on my truck. Which should I go with and will it dent my truck bed?

You have a couple options to allow you to install a fifth wheel hitch in the bed of your 2019 Nissan xD that has the B and W Turnoverball rail kit part # BWGNRK1217 installed. That said the X5 adapter part # 16310 does fit your rail kit and will give you a set of rails for a standard fifth wheel hitch to install. This would not dent your truck bed either.
The best option is to go with a B and W Companion hitch that fits the rail kit directly and gives you what nearly all RVers consider to be the best fifth wheel hitch setup available. If you had a long bed you'd want the fixed hitch Companion part # BWRVK3500 or if you had a short bed part # BWRVK3400 which is the slider version which will give you more turning clearance between the nose of your trailer and the cab of your truck.
The Companion hitches are considered to be the best for a few reasons like the fact they are incredibly well made and reliable plus are very easy to use. But the big factor most really like is how tight the king pin of the trailer is held which gives you a very smooth and quiet ride quality when towing. I attached a review video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
