I spoke with Curt about installing the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31068 on a 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor and they informed me that you can keep the skid shield as the trailer hitch installs on the outside of the frame rails and the skid shield installs on the inside of the frame rails. However, you will need to do some trimming but you should still be able to keep the skid shield.
