Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2020 Chevy Sonic
Question:
For flat towing this car comes with a eyebolt that screws into the front right bumper which according to dealer can be used for towing, but I have not been able to find a tow bar that is used to connect to the towing vehicle. The Chevy equinox has the same feature. Where can I find the hardware needed to use this feature?

Your 2020 Chevy Sonic is indeed equipped with an eye bolt that can be screwed into an integrated socket at the front of the vehicle, however this should only be used to help pull the car up onto a flat bed or trailer when it's disabled. This is not designed for actually towing the vehicle and should not be used as such.
If you take a look at your copy of the Sonic's owner's manual you can find a more detailed section on this starting on page 264.
In order to flat tow your vehicle you will need a base plate kit (which is what will connect to the tow bar), a tow bar, safety cables, a lighting solution, and a supplemental braking system. I will go ahead and list all my recommendations below in case you are still needing more than just the base plates.
Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect # RM-523203-5 (as long as you have 4-door sedan)
Tow Bar - Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain # RM-522
Safety Cables - Roadmaster # RM-645
Lighting Solution - Roadmaster Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes # RO94FR
Braking System - Brake Buddy Class 3 # HM39494
