Ski Rack for 2020 BMW X3 With Factory Roof Rack

I just purchased a 2020 BMW X3 M40i. I got the BMW OEM roof cross bars, but it is not compatible with my 2016 Yakima Fat Cat 6 thats used with my 2016 BMW 335i xDrive but has narrower OEM cross bars. Ive decided to buy a new ski rack but really like the Fat Cat 6 ease of assembly and ability to hold 6 skis. Which models of Yakima or Thule will be able to accommodate 6 skis and the newer, thicker BMW OEM rails Suggestions?

We do have an option for you but I checked with both Thule and Yakima and neither of their ski racks will clamp directly around the wider 4 inch crossbars of your 2020 BMW X3's factory roof rack. However, based on my research it looks like your BMW's rack does have a T-slot (channel) at the top of the bars. What I recommend is the Yakima FatCat EVO 6 Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Locking - 6 Skis or 4 Boards # Y03096 with the Aero Crossbar SmarT-Slot Kit 2 for Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Carriers # Y03098. I do recommend verifying your roof rack has the T-slot channels and that they are approximately 3/4" wide.
