Which Air Lift Coil Spring Kit for 2013 Ram 1500 Towing 6k Trailer

Question:

Looking to get a set of airlift coil spring air bags for my 2013 ram 1500. I do not own a WD kit but instead use the reese friction bars I use 2. I own a camper that is about 6k lbs dry. Towing capacity for my truck is rated at 10k lbs. Should I be looking at the 1000 or the HD? Thanks

Since your trailer is a bit heavier I would go with the HD version of the Air Lift springs that fit your 2013 Ram 1500 with the part # AL60818HD since they are capable of supporting more weight. There really isn't a downside to going with the higher rated kit aside from a slight price difference. But the extra support will be nice to have. This will work great with your friction sway control setup as well.

For a compressor kit then the heavy duty part # AL25854 will make inflating the bags and maintaining them very easy. The compressor will inflate faster than standard compressors and the gauge inside the vehicle will allow you to monitor and inflate them from inside the vehicle as well.
