Do You Need To Bleed the Dico Replacement Master Cylinder # 23361 Before Installing on the Trailer

Question:

I purchased a replacement Dico Master Cylinder for Model 60 Actuator, part # T4395100. Do I have to bleed the master cylinder before I install the brake lines or can I just install the master cylinder, attach the brake lines, then bleed the brakes?

It is not required to bench bleed the Replacement Master Cylinder, part # T4395100, before installing on the trailer. You can do it if you want to, it will not harm anything, but it is not recommended.

I would recommend to just install the master cylinder to your brake actuator and then bleed the whole brake system.

I am including a link to a video that will show you how to bleed your trailer brakes.
