Question:

i have 4bike rack carrier w/ an 1 1/4, is it safe to use a reducer bar/extender bar to mount the bike rack while pulling a trailer pop up trailer Rockwood 2317G using D210. By the way i have class III t-hitch which is 2inch receiver for my 2011 Honda Ridgeline w/ towing capacity of 5000lbs.

I do not recommend using an adpater in the receiver portion of the multipurpose ball mount # D210. This would create a lot of stress on the receiver and could damage it. The best course of action is to use a bike rack that is compatible with the 2 inch receiver on the ball mount, or, determine if there is an adapter that fits the shank of your bike rack to allow it to fit in a 2 inch receiver. A lot of bike racks are being made this way.

A bike rack like the Yakima RidgeBack, # Y02458, would be a good fit.

You would also need to make sure that the combined weight of the bike rack you use and the bikes PLUS the tongue weight of the trailer does not surpass the tongue weight capacity of the ball mount (750 pounds).
