Can Front Mount Hitch and Base Plate Kit Be Installed on 2016 Jeep Wrangler

Can I install a front mount hitch in conjunction with a Blue OX tow base plate for my Jeep?

A front mount hitch like the Curt # C31033 will require the same mounting space that is used for a base plate kit on your 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, so you won't be able to install both at the same time. Because of this you will just need to choose which application you plan on using more.

If flat towing the Jeep is a must then the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1128 will be the way to go. If you can tell me exactly what you plan on using the hitch for I may be able to suggest an alternative solution.

If you really want to use a front hitch for other accessories then your only option will be to install the Curt # C31033 and maybe use a different vehicle for flat towing so you can get the most out of your Jeep.
