Yes the Edge Gas Evolution CTS2 Performance Tuner part # EP85450 will let you change the tire size in the computer to account for the speedometer being off in your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 due to different size wheels and tires.
Before the tuner can be installed in your truck, you want to connect it to a computer that has internet access and download any updates that may be available.
Once installed you can access the quick link menu, the press the setting icon, select vehicle options, then select tire size. This will give you 2 options, "stock tires" or "non- stock tires". Choose "non-stock tires" and inset tire size into the tuner. It has the option for English measurements, height (XX)/ width (XX. X)/ wheel size (RXX), and P-Metric measurements width (XXX)/ aspect ratio (XX) / diameter (RXX). You also have the option for circumference, height, and resetting the tire values to stock.
I have this tuner installed on my personal truck and I love it. I have used several tuners, for various applications, towing, improved fuel economy, throttle response, and just overall improved feeling of power, and this one is my favorite by far. I love the large touch screen display because it is very easy to read and navigate through, and I gained several MPG consistently. My favorite thing about this tuner is the response I feel; I used to feel a hesitation when I pushed the accelerator, not much, but I could tell it was there. With the tuner installed, that feeling is almost completely gone, regardless of what tune I have in at the time.
For your Sierra I recommend the Center Console Mount for Edge Evolution CTS2 part # EP28503. This will let you mount the monitor in the center console for a clean look, and it prevents taking up room on the windshield. However the center console mount only works with trucks that have captain seats and a center console, not bench seats.
I have linked a video of when I installed the tuner on my truck, it's a different year but the process and features are going to be the same.
