Solution for B and W Companion Hitch that Seems too Tall to Fit in Truck Bed Corrugation

Question:

I ask a question of what is the difference between bwrvk3400 and the eve 3405. The expert have replied that everything is the same besides the weight, In which I can agree. If this 2 items are the same in dimensions then why is it that when I connect my rvk3405 to my 2016 Toyota Tundra it does not sit flush to my truck bed. The black rubber that are suppose to move to the side and sit down into the bed rails/groove don’t touch? The shaft/socket adjuster area is to tall? Not sure if I’m making sense or not but hopefully you can understand me and can help me.

The B and W Turnoverball hitches like # BWRVK3400 have an adjustment built into them to allow for varying height truck bed. If you check out the picture I attached you'll see that the socket post is adjustable to allow it to fit your setup. This will allow the hitch to sit higher or lower relative to the bed of the truck it's installed in. From there you can adjust the feet of the hitch to line up with the grooves in the truck bed.
