I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This brake controller has an easy to read LED display that makes it easier to read and operate than other comparable units. This is a proportional brake controller that will provide you with the same brake pressure on your trailer as the pressure applied to your vehicle's brakes and without the delay that occurs with the older time delayed controllers.
Since you don't have any wiring on your 2020 Chevy Express Van, you'll first need to install a 4 way plug like the Tekonsha T-One # 118392. This wiring harness plugs in behind your van's driver and passenger side tail lights to provide you with a 4 way trailer connection. Once you've completed that, you'll want to install the # ETBC7 kit which will take your existing 4 way controller and allow you to add on a 7 way plug. This plug will need to be hard wired to the brake controller, 12v power source, reverse lights and ground connection.
I've attached some helpful links to our installation videos on these products that should help walk you through how to install your wiring and brake controller to get you on the road.
