Can The Rope Be Switched Out For A Longer Rope in The ProGrip XRT Tie Down
Question:
I purchased the XRT tie down with 3/8 8ft rope. It’s great but I need a longer rope. Can I change out the rope? How do you do that?

The rope can easily be changed for a longer rope in the ProGrip XRT Rope Lock Tie-Down part # 317-404400. You just want to switch out the rope for a double braided polyester rope that is 3/8" thick. You can use a screw driver or other tool to feed the rope through one side of the lock. According to ProGrip once you get the rope into the lock on one side it easily pulls through after that.
