Stereo Recommendation for 2013 Heartland 3070RL 5th Wheel with 3-Zone and Surround Sound System

Question:

Hello, I would like to know which Stereo system would work the best for my application. I have a 2013 Heartland 3070RL 5th Wheel and have the need to replace the old non-working original Sony Stereo / DVD Player which was a free standing system and it sat large shelf. I have plenty of room to build and install an RV type unit. Hooking up all the speakers is my biggest concern. My 5th Wheel has the following three speaker zones: 1. Five each Speaker Surround plus a Subwoofer 2. Two speakers in the bedroom 3. Two exterior speakers. Thank You

While we don't have any stereos designed specifically for surround sound, we do have the systems like the iRV Stereo # 292-101809 that you referenced which have 6 speaker outputs that are built for a 3-zone system (2 front, 2 middle, 2 rear) as well as subwoofer outputs. Surround sound systems tend to have their own output system so you should only need provisions for the left/right sound and the sub for your surround sound system to operate properly.

If you aren't sure let me know what surround sound system you have and/or send me some pictures of your different surround sound system wiring and I can help you figure out exactly what you'll need.
