Availability of Replacement Fan Blade Screw for 8000SD6WH Create-A-Breeze Vent Fan
Question:
Hi, We have an 8000SD6WH Create-A-Breeze fan mfg 9/12. The little screw that holds in the blade has rattled loose and we cant find a replacement for it. We can push the blade up and friction will hold it for a while, but wed really like to just fix it. I can not find the part on any schematic. Ive tried a few different types of screws but none seem to fit. HELP! Thanks for your expertise.

The specific screw you're needing to hold the fan blade to the motor shaft on your older model Create-A-Breeze Fan is no longer available. You might be able to find some replacement hardware from an online re-seller, but the screw itself isn't produced anymore.
Your best option at this point is really to replace the fan assembly itself. For this the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV802250 will work really nicely. It fits a rough opening size of 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" and features a variable-speed fan to boost or reduce airflow as needed.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
