Monthly Fee Of Linxup GPS Tracking Device and How To Charge GPS battery
Question:
I don’t see any sample costs of contracts monthly or annual. That leads me to assume it might be spendy. How long will it stay charged on a 12 volt battery? Does it draw a lot or is it minimal?

The Linxup GPS tracking device part # 300-AT3-S does come with a 1 year service. I have attached the monthly prices as they are now (November 2019) from the Linxup website for after the year is up. The GPS battery last up to 3 months once charged (so it draws very little power) by a 12V source if you are tracking something like a trailer that is non-powered. You would just need to fully charge the GPS battery with a 12V power source.
If you are tracking a powered asset, like a vehicle or trailer that runs on a 12-Volt system you can connect the wiring for power. You would need to mount it in a place where the power wire can easily extend to the vehicle's battery. The red and white wires on this device will either connect to the positive post on your battery or to the ignition wire. The black ground wire will then need to be attached to a bare spot on your vehicle's frame that is free from any rust or paint.

If I have solar panels (400 watts) that keeps my two 12-volt batteries charged on my travel trailer. I also have a place hidden that I have a connector that has 6 connections for running off 12 volt box that is under my cabinet. I have my 12 volt fridge that I can connect when I'm using my travel trailer so can I connect this unit full time or only to charge?
