Can the Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter CAB-C5G be Used Without Bolting or Drilling

Question:

CAB-C5G 12-16 inch adjustable. Do I need to bolt or weld this one onto the 5th wheel or are the set screws good enough on it as well?

You can use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Fifth-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter, # CAB-C5G, without bolting them to the pin box on your fifth wheel trailer. This makes the adapter fairly easy to move from trailer to trailer without having to modify the trailer pin boxes.

These adapters can be bolted on to your pin box for added security or if you are planning on using it on a more permanent basis, but bolting or drilling is not necessary for use.
