Need this size for my truck chains, but want to know if the repair tool will also work on smaller links on smaller chains for our car. Thank you.

The Titan Chain Repair Pliers for Light Truck Snow Tire Chains # TCRP2 is designed to be used on chain links that are up to .218 of an inch thick. As long as yours are smaller than that (sounds like they are) this will work really well for you.
