Brakes Stopped Working With HydraStar Actuator

Question:

pushed down on the brake and trailer brakes hitfoot then released..hit and released 4 or 5 times...then stopped working altogether...is it something INSIDE the actuator or elsewhere ?? all the trailer lights function properly as does the brake controller inside the vehicle...

If this is a newer installation-meaning that you've only recently started using this trailer and actuator with this truck, it could be that your vehicle requires a controller adapter module # HBA-CAM. The controller adapter module is required on Chevy trucks years 2007-2017, so if you have a HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Acutator # HBA-12 you will need to add the controller adapter module in order to actuate the brakes on your trailer.

If this is a problem that has just recently started up and you can let me know what year, make and model truck you have, as well as the correct HydraStar actuator you're using I can offer some additional troubleshooting steps for you.
