Troubleshooting Blinker Lights on 1977 Road Ranger Camper
Question:
this is a 1977 Road Ranger travel trailer I replaced a lite number and have tail,stop,but when turn 1 blinker on they both blink have 1 yellow an brown plugged in an 1 green an brown plugged in have white fixed wire grounded to camper please help

You should only have one wire going to the turn/stop signal connection and one wire going to the taillight connection on each side of the trailer.
Left side turn/stop wire is yellow,
Right side turn/stop wire is green,
taillight wire is brown.
White wires should be grounded securely to a clean metal surface.
Make sure the trailer and truck grounds are good too. If the problem is still there check the connector from the vehicle. One wire broken or shorted can cause many different problems and it just takes persistence to work it out. If you can not get it lined out let me know the make and model of your vehicle and what connector (4, 6 or 7 pole) you are using on the truck and trailer, and I will help you work through it.
