4 Wheel Drive Vehicle that Can be Flat Towed and Weighs Less than 3,500 lbs
Question:
We have a new-to-us 2019 Coach House Class B-Plus RV thats based on a Ford Transit 350 HD Cutaway chassis. We were surprised to find the towed weight limitation is 3500 # and the tongue weight only 100 #. Any thoughts on a good bet for a 4x4 that doesnt break the bank the Coach House ate the piggy bank?

Expert Reply:
The Suzuki Grand Vitaras that were made around the year 2005 were lighter weight and 4WD. This generation of Vitara ran from 2001 to 2005. They would fall under the weight capacity of your Coach House as most weigh around 3,100 lbs. We have a base plate kit for it with part # 1011-3 which you could use a tow bar like the part # RM-520 to tow it with.
