What Type of Connection is Used for the Auxiliary Input on Jensen Heavy Duty Mechless RV Stereo?
Question:
You indicate the JHD1130B has NOAA alerting, so does the radio power have to be on to receive a weather alert, and if so how many amps does it draw ? If I install in my Trailer power consumption at night becomes one of my concerns. My second question is what is the AUX input, 3.5mm jack, USB etc ? None of the photos show the AUX uncovered nor does the manual. Thanks

The AUX input on the Jensen Heavy Duty Mechless RV Stereo # JHD1130B is a 3.5mm audio input jack that is accessed via a flip down cover on the front of the unit. This stereo has the ability to receive signals from the 7 NOAA weather radio stations throughout the country, but the stereo is required to be powered on and tuned to your closest available NOAA frequency in order to receive that signal. Because of that, you won't have to worry about the radio drawing power from your battery at night.
