How Many Batteries are Needed When Using Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks

I have a 2 horse sundowner gooseneck . 1996. With this motor, does it need 1 or 2 batteries to operate?

Most people only use a single battery with the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks w/ 12,000-lb Capacity # BD1824200100 that you referenced and it works just fine. As long as you have a decent battery with a good charge it will work great. Having a second battery would give you more running time before needing to charge the batteries but it definitely wouldn't be a necessity.
