Which B and W Companion Hitch for 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed

Question:

Im interested in the above hitch for my 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD and have a couple questions. I will need the complete setup including underbed gooseneck mount. My truck has a 66inch bed. How much does this hitch weigh? How far are you able to adjust it to the back to give more clearance for the cab?

Since your 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 is a short bed truck you'd actually most likely need the slider version of the hitch you referenced part # BWRVK3400. This can slide back when you need to make tight turns to give you the better turning clearance you are wanting with your short bed truck. The only way you'd be able to get by with the fixed # BWRVK3500 is if your trailer has a tapered nose designed for short bed truck clearance. Typically the long bed trucks use the fixed hitches and the short bed trucks use the sliders to get more clearance. The slider Companion weighs 280 lbs and the fixed weigh 204 and both are easily broken down into smaller sections to make moving them easier.

Either way the same rail kit fits both bed lengths # BWGNRK1016 which I attached an install video for on a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 just like yours. This also doubles as a gooseneck hitch too!
