CTEK Battery Charger that Can Charge and Maintain 100 Amp Hour Battery
Question:
I am finding a spec confusing related to matching a battery charger to a deep cycle battery for use in a travel trailer. NOCO and CTEK chargers state a different rating for charging and maintaining. If I have a 100Ah rated battery ... which spec do I judge by? For instance, the CTEK 330 maintains batteries up to 120 Ah seems more than enough, but charges batteries up to 75 Ah seems too small. So, is a good choice for over-winter use, but insufficient to keep a 100 Ah battery up to snuff during the camping season? Or fully capable and appropriate? Appreciate your insight on sorting this out. Thanks!

NOCO and CTEK are different companies and do have slightly different recommendations for battery charging applications. That said, the CTEK MULTI US 3300 # CTEK56353 would work really well to charge and maintain a 100 amp hour battery over the winter. It can be used to charge a 100 amp battery but due to it's lower amperage output it would take over a day to do so. But a maintenance charge is much lower so the higher amperage rating would not be needed for this function.
I have this charger and have used it to charge larger vehicle batteries and it did a really great job.
