Recommended Brake Controller for a 2019 GMC Canyon

I found 2 wired plugs under the left kick panel. they were taped together. What trailer break controller and wiring harness should It use?

The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR is what I recommend for a 2019 GMC Canyon. The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite is one of the best options on the market and the only one with both user controlled and proportional braking modes which allows you to take full control of your trailer's brakes. The best feature however in my mind is the hidden design in which only the control knob is visible.
