I do have options for you but I think there may be some confusion on how to activate the brakes on a towed vehicle. The Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller part # 39523 or one like it is designed to activate electric brakes on a trailer, not hydraulic brakes on a towed vehicle. In order to activate hydraulic brakes on a towed vehicle you will need a much more complex system, the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 is the most economical option we offer. I know this pretty much blows your budget out of the water but the task is a bit more complex then you may have originally thought. Place note, a supplemental braking system is required in every state now for flat-towing.

The Heavy Duty Magnetic Tow Lights part # TL21RK would then be a good option to activate the stop/turns signals as it is both effective and economical.
